Grown Ups is set as a family movie which shows the everlasting relationship between friends and how the old fashion lifestyle can be fun. I personally liked the movie because of its fun-filled family story. I thought the story was very good as it refers to going back to camping and small traditions. Instead of having such commodities around you to make a day seem fun, they just take the simple view of the world through a camping trip and have fun with the slightest technology.
The movie is just another Adam Sandler movie. It is a movie that is trying to make you feel good. I am not saying that is a bad thing, I do like the movie and it’s plot. This is also not just another complex cleverly directed movie. It is one of those simple movies where you can see what is going on and relate to it and I like that. It gave me more of a relaxed feeling to it. This is one of those movies that you go to watch when you are not feeling good and want to cheer up. Especially if you have been out camping or outdoors with your family and had a good time because this movie can easily remind of you of those times and make you feel happy again.
The comedy in the movie is very nice and it’s the kind of comedy that you can relate to as well with your family members. I really liked it because there were certain parts that reminded me of things that happened within my family. Most of the time it was with my brothers, but it always makes me laugh. This movie also comes with a nice moral and lesson that shows you the great power of the outdoors and being together with your friends and family.
I would say that if you really like family movies and some nice comedy this would be a good movie to watch. But, if you are into the more smarter movies, it may not be your scene.
